About us

The International Association of Rectors of Pedagogical Universities in Europe (ARPUE) is a professional organization that brings together the heads of leading pedagogical universities in Europe. We aim to develop quality education, strengthen international cooperation and implement modern educational practices in the field of pedagogy.

Established to support education and research in the field of pedagogy, the ARPUE acts as a platform for the exchange of experience between leading educational institutions, promotes the introduction of innovative teaching methods and supports the training of highly qualified teachers.

Our goals:

• International cooperation - expanding cooperation between member universities, organizing conferences, forums and seminars to discuss topical issues of pedagogy and education.
• Raising standards of teacher education - joint improvement of curricula, implementation of best international practices and innovations for the training of future teachers.
• Supporting research - promoting the development of research in education, supporting young scientists and cooperating in the field of applied pedagogy.
• Academic mobility - development of programs for the exchange of students and teachers, which allows to expand opportunities for professional and cultural development.

Our members are the leading pedagogical universities in Europe, each of which makes a significant contribution to the development of education and pedagogical science. We invite other institutions to join our community to work together to strengthen teacher education internationally.
